
I thought, for sure, that I would bawl my eyes out. Fortunately for me--and unfortunately for her--my emotional connection was quickly thwarted when I realized that we were, indeed, not 10 minutes early for a 9:00am start, but rather 20 minutes tardy for an 8:30am start! I was mortified! How I could have made that mistake, I'll never know. But I will certainly not forget that I made my daughter late for her first ever day of school.

OK - I'm sorry - this made me laugh out loud...at your expense...sounds like something I would totally do...HA!!!!!!
Tardy slip from school that is for sure. Don't forget the pick up time. Should we carpool ...?
