Yesterday Liliana had an opportunity to meet Leila and give her a bottle. We've been spending as much time with her as we can, while also respecting the
birthmother's time. Last night I held Leila for three hours in a private nursery, and it was such a beautiful experience.
Leila sleeps for hours, then is alert for about 30 minutes before it's time to eat. She calmly looks around, makes adorable faces and doesn't cry until it's about one minute 'til bottle time. She is absolutely precious, and I'm so thankful to have so much bonding time in the hospital. Praise the Lord for this adoption!
