Holiday Miracle

Every day holds the possibility of a miracle.
Nothing is impossible with God. ~Luke 1:37

I stand before you humble, amazed and honored to share a Christmas miracle. For so long we have hoped and prayed, waited and trusted. And in God's glorious timing, He has granted us the desire of our hearts. Yes, my friends, we are expecting a child! (Cue Halleluiah chorus.)

It has taken the entire day and three pregnancy tests for the reality to sink in. Part of me still doesn't believe it. At this point, my hormone levels look good. Progesterone was the exception, but it's always the black sheep..so I started a prescription supplement today. While Wade and I are absolutely thilled, we must also remain cautious. Keep in mind this is my fifth pregnancy, and we have eight unborn children in heaven. So we're taking it day by day, and we're calling for prayer.

Please boldly lift up this tiny life to our Lord. Pray that s/he is healthy and remains so to term. Please pray that my body will support this pregnancy, and that we will meet this child & know him/her on earth. We thank you, in advance, for your prayers and support.

While you're on your knees, please remember my friend, Kate, who will undergo brain surgery tomorrow. My heart is with her. Click the following link to read her prayer requests: http://katesnodgrass.blogspot.com/

All praise and glory to God, with whom nothing is impossible! ~Ramona

I am beside myself with joy at this news!!! It truly is a Christmas miracle. I saw Kate this evening (dropped something off) and I said that this wonderful news to me is a sign that Kate's surgery will go just fine and she'll be well. For God is indeed performing miracles and hearing our prayers!! As I heard the news over the phone while at Hobby Lobby a woman shopping next to me said that she was barren and rejoicing with Ramona. I was in tears and in complete full-body chills. I immediately called my best friend, Angela. She's also strugged with infertility. She said to say that this news has given her new hope!! Ramona, you're an inspiration. You and Wade WILL get this child that you have been waiting for so long. This is your gift from God for your patience and understanding. I will keep you, Wade and this new little miracle in my prayers every day!!! Let me know if you need anything at all...anytime. You know I mean that! Take care. Get rest. Love ya! Stacy

Wow!!!!! Unbelievable!!! I'm screaming too, about this excited unexpected news. Oh, Boy, the days to come are going to require some major time on my knees. What a privilege it is to lift you and Kate together before the throne, believing that we CAN impact the outcome by asking our Heavenly Father who delights to hear our requests!! Oh, may He answer them according to the desires of our hearts!! (You've heard my struggles with fatalism. . . he's gonna do what he's gonna do, so why ask!) Indeed, God is Good All the Time. All the Time, God is Good. And I'm asking Him confidently for a healthy sibling for Liliana!
We love you,

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a great way to wake up this morning, thinking about Kate, and get your wonderful news!!!!! Praise God! I know that you are so excited and so scared at the same time. I've been there. We will be praying for both of you today and I hope that you can keep your stress level to a minimum (easier said than done, I know). Wow - I'm still in shock! Praying for continued good hormone numbers, rest, and rejoicing!!!

Ramona (AND WADE!!!),
Words cannot express the excitement that Julie and I shared over your news!! As she said - what a way to start the day. It truly reminds both of us how much we should pray for miracles, and believe that He can deliver. We will pray for you and please know that our hearts will be filled with many of the same emotions that you will have - we've been there - we know how difficult it can be to go through these emotions and ride the roller coaster that you're on!
We look forward to rejoicing in every minute the Lord gives you with this blessing and pray His protection over you and your little one!!
All of our love and prayers,
Johnny B.
