Liliana and I are so pleased that Wade has returned home from Nashville. He was gone for 4 days, and we really missed him. Although I would have loved to attend the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) world conference with Wade, it seems that the solo experience was very good for him in the professional, emotional and spiritual realms.
While Wade was away, I was very busy taking care of family business and beginning a new counseling venture. As a long-awaited answer to prayer, the Lord recently brought the perfect opportunity into my life. I am so excited to be using my counseling skills and license in a more formal capacity. As a private contractor, I provide counseling & consultation to parents of children with behavioral issues. How perfect! And, as icing on the cake...all of the work takes place in the comfort of my own home, mainly over the phone. I am lovin' it!
On to more good news: God is in the midst of answering prayer regarding our desire for children! Wade is experiencing a stonger call toward adoption, which is wonderful news to me since I've been ready for months. We are now stepping up our search for the right agency or attorney. Our goal is to narrow down the options, so that we may begin the process as soon as possible. Believe it or not, the wait for an infant can be up to three years in the U.S. If you have had experience with domestic infant adoption, we'd love to hear about it! Feel free to leave it in the comment section or email us.
Thanks again for your prayer and support. We are so blessed.
To God be all the glory, Ramona
